Why should I pick Ellison Video Productions?

Our years of experience and training from industry professionals enables us as Utah wedding videographers to capture your wedding in a way nobody else could. Anybody can hold a camera but it takes a seasoned professional to master the artistry we offer. We are non-obtrusive and will handle the nitty gritty details, leaving you free to enjoy your wedding the way you should.

How much will my wedding video cost?

Our prices are listed under the section entitled “Wedding Pricing” where we list our package options. Those prices are non-negotiable, however, we are willing to make a personalized quote if your wedding plans don’t fit in with any of our package options.

Do I need to reserve the date for my wedding video?

Yes, since dates fill up quickly and unfortunately we can’t do everybody’s video. Please call us at 801.756.8045 for availability. To save your wedding date, we require a non-refundable booking fee which will be deducted from the total package price. The amount of that fee depends on the size of the package you choose.

Do you do temple wedding videos?

Yes, many of our clients get married in LDS temples, and we are familiar with how the process works so we are happy to await you and your new spouse outside the temple.

When will payment for my wedding video be due?

Payment in full is due one week prior to the wedding date. We accept cash, checks, VISA and Mastercard.

Why is there a sales tax assessed?

The Utah State Legislature ruled that video services actually are defined as a product, since there are tangible goods created and delivered to the end user. As such, the law requires that sales tax be assessed normally for video production services in the state of Utah.

Will I be able to show my video at the reception the same day?

Most all of our couples are able to watch their Utah wedding video that night at their reception. Even if we only have a few hours between filming and the reception, we can show highlights of the days events at the reception for all of your family and friends to share in your special day.

Will my video scrapbook be ready to show before our wedding?

We can arrange that, just tell us when you would like it. This is a fun way to introduce your friends and family to your fiancé.

When do I give you my pictures and music?

Please provide your pictures 3-4 weeks before your wedding date. We need the pictures in the exact order you want them to play in your video scrapbook (it helps to number them on the back or on post-it notes).

Where in Utah do you provide service?

Salt Lake County and Utah County are the most common places we provide service. We are willing to travel anywhere in Utah for you, as far as Manti and St. George. Ask us about traveling to your destination wedding.

Can Ellison Video Productions just choose the music for us?

Unfortunately it would be illegal for us to do that, copyright laws require that we can only use your music in your wedding video. Please provide us with your music and indicate any preferences for which song you would like to play during each segment.

How will you work with my photographer?

Utah wedding videographers work well with photographers and Ellison Video Productions is no exception. If you don’t have one, we would love to recommend professionals that we respect.
